By that, he means that from a short distance, you can see patterns and flow better than if you are in the middle of the swirl of activity. One of the best ways to get up on the balcony is to set up and regularly practice the discipline of “routines of renewal.”
Your life is demanding, and it needs you to be at your best. Over the long run, your success will depend on the routines you establish regarding the mental, physical, retentional, and spiritual areas of your life.
You got where you are because of your effort and continued commitment.
Don’t overdo it and burn out. Your energy and general perspective will continue to serve you well if you can sustain them both. You are going to have to create flexible and sustainable approaches to living your best.
