Attention to Issues

Attention to Issues

Whether your team is meeting weekly or bi-weekly to review your team’s operating plan, it’s important to ask a few questions: Are they on or off target? Are they ahead or behind? If they’re ahead, that’s great! However, did they just move something forward into that time slot, or are they legitimately ahead? If they’re behind, why are they behind? Is it a timing issue, or is someone not doing the things they need to do? Each of those issues requires different kinds of special attention, and if you have these meetings regularly, you can put the attention on the issues that need it the most.
