
Empowering People
Be careful about accidentally disempowering your people. You don’t usually empower them by directing them on every daily task. You empower them by discussing the goals of each of the tasks and developing their character, their skills and them as individual human beings. When you do this, you will find an empowered team that thinks out loud and, more often than not, makes the right decision with the overall goal in mind.
